- High-Pressure Capability: With a 5000 PSI working pressure and a
10,000 PSI test pressure, this hose is designed to handle high-pressure
applications with a 2.5:1 safety factor.
- Durable Construction: The hose features a robust, oil-resistant inner
tube (often made of Nitrile or HNBR) suitable for water- and oil-based
drilling fluids. The reinforcement consists of multiple layers of
high-tensile steel wire or cable, providing exceptional strength and
flexibility.
- Abrasion and Weather Resistant Cover: The outer cover is made from a synthetic rubber
compound (like neoprene) that resists abrasion, ozone, and weathering,
extending the hose's lifespan in harsh outdoor conditions.
