All PME Industrial high pressure hoses assembly for drilling are passed hydrostatic test as per API 7K, API 16C, API 16D specs.

 

As per API standards, working pressure should be 1.5 times of test pressure. PME hoses are assembled by crimping hose body with hammer unions or API flanges. The next procedure is hydrostatic test for hoses pressure test.

 

Only the hoses assemblies which passed the hydrostatic test are qualified and approved for delivery to drilling site users and oil and gas sector contractors. PME API certified hoses assembly come with hydrostatic test certificates.

Chiksan style hose loop configure with integral straight pipe and swivel joint. They are used for well testing pipeline, acid fracturing and cementing slurry piping. The swivel joint can be long sweep and short radius. Style 10 and Style 50 are the usual type for the swivel joint used.

PME integral fittings are used for connecting surface manifold with hammer union connections. They are integral elbow and cushion elbow. T shape also is named tee in hammer union ends wing or thread. PME also produce the tees in flanged ends.

Hammer union check valves are used as non return valves. Normal size is 3" in Figure 602. Working pressure is 6000 psi. Ends connections are 3" FIG 602 wing and thread. PME Industrial's top entry check valves are optional for well testing operation.
